When you had certain FCs for ages, like decades ago, and their aspects that made them stand out the most, now became common or trendy. So therefore your FC is starting to just look like every else's. Then you miss when those aspects were rare haha

Example:

Star's wings attached to her arms. Back than birds were very rare in the fandom, but if there were some around, they were usually wingless like the Babylon Rogues. So, I gave her wings attached to give her the flight benefit, like Predator Hawk. Attached wings became common now.

Starting to see more Dragons now. Remember when those were rare as heck in the fandom?

Sea creatures. I never thought those would ever get attention. I remember having a dolphin FC like 7 years ago and they were very rare at the time. Now they're beyond belief popular.

Now you're just like, dang no more rarity glory. XDD *shot

I know some of you can relate

I think some of my characters I can possibly still call a bit 'rare' because I tend to like to play with the bounding boxes of the style, doing things a lot of truely 'sonic style' creators completely shy away from, such as giving characters a much wider variety of possible body shapes. Like my Amelia, who isn't the dinky three heads tall, but has an elongated body and stands at about six heads tall. Or (when I finally get her design done), my character Rorie who I actually wanted to have digi-grade instead of planti-grade legs. I have a few other really interesting characters in the works, if I ever get the chance to work with them more.

But I feel you. It seems like some of the traits that were rarely seen are now becoming quite popular. The Ragu clan in the comics made people start to come up with characters who had a more proper style of bat wing, rather then just the wing style Rouge has.
